A picture tells a thousand words

The Interpretive Centre tells the story of the Merino in the district and the history of the Conargo Village. Photos on large wool bales and a restored buggy, complete with a driver and passenger dressed in costume, are very reminiscent of earlier times.

The popular and inviting building also houses modern toilet facilities and sits in a landscaped surrounding complete with native vegetation and picnic tables to sit down and enjoy the natural beauty.

The Interpretive Centre is located in the centre of Conargo Village at the Recreation Reserve directly opposite the Conargo Hotel and also allows free overnight camping for RV's.

A great spot to explore the past
