The beautiful weather ensures the river is a hive of activity for most of the year providing an aquatic playground for boats, skiers, wakeboarders, canoes and anglers hoping to catch the magnificent Murray Cod.
The Edward River at Deniliquin is unique in that the river downstream of McLean Beach is a fantastic playground for motorised craft whilst the river upstream is perfect for passive activities such as canoeing and kayaking as it meanders through the magnificent red gum forest.
